Title: Manager, Training and Sales Support

Reporting to Vice President, Global Human Resources and Employee Education

Location: Toronto


We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, results and performance driven Manager, Training and Sales Support to join our growing team! Reporting to the Vice President, Global Human Resources and Employee Education, the Manager, Training and Sales Support is responsible for developing an infrastructure of programs, tools and operations that supports employee development as well as the sales process, and impacts and drives sales growth.

What you’ll do:

  • Identify and assess the training needs of the organization through job analysis, career paths and consultation with managers.
  • Evaluate organizational performance to ensure that training is meeting business needs and improving performance.
  • Assess employees’ skills, performance, and productivity to identify areas of improvement.
  • Design, develop, and deliver the company’s learning strategy with a focus on the sales organization.
  • Create a curriculum to facilitate strategic training based on the organization’s goals.
  • Lead the planning and execution of the new employee training/onboarding process for all employees.
  • Lead the planning and execution of national sales meetings in conjunction with sales leadership.
  • Ensure effectiveness of the company’s learning management system and other learning tools in place.
  • When required, build training modules, source external material, and adapt to company needs.
  • Drive brand values and philosophy through all training and development activities.
  • Effectively manage the training budget.
  • Keep abreast of training trends, developments, and best practices.
  • Understand the competitive landscape, market trends, and make recommendations to drive sales growth and motivate the sales force.

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field (essential).
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in training and development management (essential).
  • Experience creating and delivering learning content across a range of formats, including facilitator-led training, eLearning, webinars, etc.
  • Solid experience using innovative learning technologies including social, mobile, microlearning and gamification.
  • Superb track record in developing and executing successful training programs.
  • Experience in North America and Global an asset.
  • Medical/Aesthetic industry experience an asset.
  • Flexibility and resilience in working in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Critical thinker with innovative problem-solving skills.
  • Highly computer literate with proficiency in MS Office and related business and communication tools.
  • Familiar with traditional and modern training processes.
  • Fantastic organizational and time management skills.
  • Strategic and creative mindset.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
