We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, driven and results oriented Product Manager to join our growing team! Reporting to the Associate Director, Global Brand Management, the Product Manager will be based in Toronto and will be responsible for leading the product efforts and deliver outstanding and innovative products in the field of medical aesthetics. You will be responsible for implementing the company’s roadmap and strategy across our products and services as well as managing product life cycle activities from conception through to successful commercialization.

What you will do:

  • Conducting competitive intelligence & market research activities. Follow new technologies, competitive products, and make recommendations on how our products will leverage or fit into these emerging trends.
  • Develop product launch plans and strategies for new product introductions and product line extensions.
  • Translating market opportunities & customer needs to clearly articulated product requirements and specifications.
  • Writing the business case and marketing requirement specifications for new products.
  • Creating the product story, value proposition, product branding, and highlighting key selling points.
  • Consulting on pricing strategies and business models adapted by different market channels to maximize profitability.
  • Delivering product briefings and product presentations with a high degree of comfort to large and small audiences.
  • Developing the global B2B and B2C marketing plan and overseeing the regional executions in NA, EMEA, LATAM and APAC .
  • Prioritizing product marketing activities based on business strategy and customer impact.
  • Ensuring patient-centricity and customer-focus by acting as the voice of the customer and an advocate for our clinics and patients throughout innovation and product development phases.
  • Defining User Interface requirements and design, evaluating prototypes to optimize usability and an enhanced customer experience.
  • Defining and developing initiatives and plans that drive product strategy, consumer adoption and advocacy.
  • Collaborating with other departments to manage all aspects of the product lifecycle (regulatory, clinical, marketing, finance, service, operations, etc).
  • Working closely with the clinical department to stay current on all clinical studies and to initiate new clinical studies that will support product positioning.
  • Training the sales organization on new products and product enhancements, serving as a domain expert internally and externally.

What you will need:

  • An experienced Product Manager with at least 3 years experience with a proven track record for creating and launching successful products.
  • B.Sc/M.Sc/Engineering degree is a must, MBA-preferred.
  • Strong technical skills, science background with passion for developing new technologies and products.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience conducting business analytics and generating reports via PowerBI or similar programs.
  • Experience with UI design & wire-framing.
  • Must be detail oriented, ability to multi-task and work under time pressures.
  • Positive attitude, team-player, hands-on, creative.
  • An independent learner and flexible in nature.
  • Customer and service oriented.
  • Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with a high degree of comfort to large and small audiences.
  • Experience with aesthetic medical devices an asset.
  • Experience working with global companies is an asset.
  • Experience working within a regulated industry an asset.
