Location:  West Coast, USA

We have an exciting opportunity for a full time Clinical Trainer – ARTAS to join our growing team located on the West Coast of USA.  This position is responsible for the delivery of all clinical training activity to physicians and clinical support staff at customer sites throughout the region. This is a field-based position and requires extensive travel. This position will report to the Senior Manager, Training and Operations.

What you will do:

  • Become a clinical and product expert on ARTAS Robotic Hair Transplantation
  • Responsible for managing clinical activity and customer training in assigned region
  • Drive ARTAS procedure growth in supported customer practices by building clinical confidence, increase product knowledge and staff development
  • Deliver ARTAS product training and non-robotic FUE clinical education and training through the provision of training protocols to doctors and customer staff, education them fully on best ARTAS practices
  • Manage and schedule all case support and product training at customer sites within assigned territory
  • Work with regional team to identify areas of learning needed, and provide them
  • Management of Training Specialists with collaborative and synergistic relationships to ensure customers training needs are met
  • Collaborate with Practice Development Manager in site execution of procedure marketing tools
  • Assist Practice Development Manager in patient recruitment and consultation training using ARTAS Hair Studio
  • Monitor and take responsibility for documentation of training activity for Regulatory purposes
  • Escalate field clinical issues to the Practice Development Manager and Technical support in headquarters
  • Ensure all clinical activity and training documentation are submitted correctly and entered to NetSuite, maintain accurate customer records
  • Communicate with corporate headquarters concerning customer feedback, both positive and negative
  • Travel extensively, interacting with customers and field teams
  • Attend weekly Clinical conference calls with the world-wide field clinical teams
  • Support tradeshows and congresses to promote the ARTAS brand

 

What you will need:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in medical devices/field training or clinical hair transplantation
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; RN degree or Medical Assistant credentials preferred
  • Knowledge of the surgical office practice environment advantageous (hair transplantation office, dermatology office, plastic surgery office)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential
  • Ability to teach and communicate well with many diverse people
  • Skilled and confident in presenting highly technological education material to health care professionals
  • Independent and autonomous personality strengths, with the ability to collaborate with others while working on cross functional goals and objectives
  • Flexible personality with the ability to read and adapt to variations in personality and cultural back grounds
  • Microsoft Office skills (word, email, PowerPoint, excel)
  • Familiar with office work and able to write detailed reports achieving deadlines
  • Must be located in the respective region, ideally within easy access of a major airport

Must be willing to travel extensively, approximately 80% of time.
