Title: Events Manager

Reporting to VP of Marketing

Location: Remote, USA

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and driven full time Events Manager to join our growing team! Reporting to the VP of Marketing, the Events Manager will be remote in the USA and will be responsible for supporting the Global Events & Marketing department in planning and coordinating all logistics and event related tasks at Venus Concept.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop the global event strategy for: trade shows, prospect and customer events, consumer, internal and employment engagement events
  • Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring all expenditures are fiscally responsible and maximize efficiency
  • Analyze ROI for events, making informed decisions based on analyzing performance data and KPIs
  • Manage the work of internal teams and external agency partners to execute all event and activation logistics
  • Provide creative team with direction for: booth design, event invitations, digital event material and all other event related collateral
  • Post event reporting on all events success and ROI
  • Manage registration, booth build-up and trade show service for all events
  • Coordinate logistics of devices and marketing materials (shipping, tracking, etc)
  • Coordinate staff travel and accommodations
  • Oversee and recommend the strategy for the deployment of e-Blasts, and associated landing pages for events
  • Coordinate online & offline promotion for all events
  • Coordinate featured guest speaker(s) where needed with the VP of Marketing
  • Provide excellent management and leadership support to internal and external staff members.
  • Ensures work meets project needs, aligns with the brand strategy, and meets Venus Concept standards consistently
  • Work cooperatively with key team members, clients and vendors
  • Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments

What you’ll need:

Education and Experience Required:

  • Degree or Diploma in Marketing, or related/equivalent experience
  • 2-4 years’ experience managing and coordinating large scale corporate events
  • Experience with the medical aesthetics industry is considered an asset
  • Experience with managing multiple events
  • Ability to work with different teams

Skill and Knowledge Requirements:

  • High attention to detail with excellent organizational skills and negotiation experience with suppliers, caterers, venues and partnership
  • Event budgeting and financials
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with external and internal stakeholders
  • Strong leadership skills and experience of successfully managing a team
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills, proficient in PowerPoint, Excel and Salesforce
