Field Service Coordinator

Location: Weston, Florida


We have an exciting opportunity for a full time Field Service Coordinator to join our growing field service team in Weston, Florida. Reporting to the Senior Technical Support Manager, the Field Service Coordinator will be based in our Weston, Florida Warehouse.

 

What you will do:

  • Receive incoming customer calls and/or emails daily as 1st tier service response.
  • Initiate SalesForce Case and dispatch field service engineers by region and availability
  • Update and maintain daily service schedule for USA Customers including preventive maintenance, upgrade, installation and Marketing / Sales support.
  • Schedule installation of devices with Field Service Engineers for sales demo, trade shows, Marketing & Sales support.
  • Transfer incoming customer calls and/or emails to Technical Support Engineer, Field Service Engineer, Technical Support or Service Manager for 2nd tier service response, if required
  • Schedule on-site service calls according to each field service schedule and customer needs
  • Schedule preventive maintenance, upgrade visits with Field Service Engineers
  • Update and maintain the SalesForce cases for all service activities and customer calls.
  • Sending estimate for service call/ parts/ contract/ etc. and process any payments and update to Priority ERP.
  • Create and send estimates for service, parts, and/or service contracts; collect payment before setting up visit schedule.
  • Gather service activity- weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly and report to technical support or service manager.
  • Receive Sales Invoices and update customer and device information in
  • Work with Warranty Sales Manager and update Warranty / Service contract information in SalesForce and create report on the status of Warranty / Service contracts monthly and report to management.
  • Track and monitor shipping/receiving record of warranty part, paid part, and returning parts for RMA daily; report any discrepancies to Technical Support Manager and Director of Operations.
  • Effective interaction and communication with internal technical support and field service personnel, Manufacturing, Marketing, and Sales.
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

 

What you will need:

  • 1-3 years of medical device industry experience or a related customer service, administrative experience preferred.
  • Associate degree in communication, computer, IT, biomedical engineering or other related field preferred.
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent customer service, problem-solving skills and High-quality organizational skills
  • Availability and flexibility to work after hours and weekends when needed during peak times.
  • The ability to work well under deadlines and to multitask.
  • Fluent in English is mandatory, Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
