Junior Sales Representative - San Diego, California

We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Junior Sales Representative to join our growing team!  Reporting to the Regional Sales Director, Southwest, the Junior Sales Representative will be based in San Diego, California and will be key in helping to drive opportunities through prospecting, cold calls and face to face visits.


What you’ll do:

  • Learn Venus Concept technology and competitive landscape
  • Maintain a high level of understanding of the products
  • Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
  • Prospect, cold call, face to face visits to schedule new opportunities for the Senior Territory Manager
  • Assist in managing current Venus Concept customers as needed
  • Achieve agreed upon quarterly sales targets within schedule
  • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
  • Actively report on progress made with prospective, new or existing accounts to Senior Territory Manager and Regional Sales Director
  • Work collaboratively with key team members, customers and vendors
  • Accomplish organizational goals by accomplishing new and different requests, and explore opportunities to add value to work


What you’ll need:

  • BA/BS University Degree or equivalent educational background in business or other relevant fields
  • Minimum of one year of sales experience, preferably in a B2B environment with structured sales systems
  • Strong drive for results and perseverance for success
  • Bilingual preferred but not required
  • Medical device experience is not required but will be considered an asset
  • Minimum 2-year commitment to learn business and earn further opportunities in our company
  • Familiarity with CRM systems would be considered an asset (specifically Salesforce)
  • Must possess your own vehicle and maintain a valid drivers’ license
  • Team player who can work collaboratively with all internal departments and customers
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment under strict deadlines
  • Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skill
  • Positive attitude, willing to learn and welcomes feedback


*Travel primarily within in North America. Some international travel as required.
