What Is NeoGraft®?
Hair restoration procedures can generally be divided into two methods: follicular unit transplantation (FUT) and follicular unit extraction (FUE). Both methods remove hair follicles from the donor area along the back and side of the head. The main difference between the two processes is that FUT procedures use a scalpel to surgically remove a strip of hair from the back of the scalp. It is then divided into follicular units that are implanted in the recipient areas. In comparison, typical FUE procedures extract hair follicles directly from the scalp in their naturally-occurring groups, generally containing one to three hairs, without having to remove a strip from the scalp.
