Title: Field Service Engineer

Location: Tokyo, Japan

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, results-driven and performance-driven Field Service Engineer to join our growing team! Reporting to the Regional Managing Director, the Field Service Engineer will be based in the Tokyo office and will be responsible for providing maintenance services to customers who use Venus AI products at the user site under warranty, service contract, or T&M. This role is essential in ensuring the continued functionality and safety of medical aesthetic equipment, contributing to the quality of patient care.

What you will do:

• Provide Installation, Maintenance, Repair and troubleshooting for Venus AI devices, adhering to SOPs guidelines.
• Establish and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction with Venus AI’s products, support, and service.
• Maintain meticulous records of service activities, equipment history, and performance reports in CRM.
• Providing basic use/maintenance training to the customers ensuring they are proficient in the use and basic maintenance of medical devices.
• Provide feedback to the department head concerning product performance anomalies encountered in the field and make recommendations for service improvements.
• Provide support at conventions, trade shows and customer trials.
• Provide Pre-Sales and Post-Sales support by maintaining close working relationships with Sales and customers to ensure expectations are met and equipment installations are handled as planned.
• Other responsibilities as required.

What you will need:

• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or 5 yrs. minimum equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience in servicing medical aesthetic devices and Robotics systems. Hospital or Surgery Room experience is a plus.
• Proven experience of using CRM/Field Service Management software using PC or smart phone.
• Strong technical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment efficiently.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and safety standards in the medical field.
• Must have valid certificate of chief engineer for maintenance of medical devices.
• Must have valid Japanese driving license.
• Ability to lift 30 lbs.

Requirement: Valid/government approved Service Certificate required with ability to service/fix medical devices in Japan.
